Questions buyers ask

Can you machine a bearing housing from a casting we supply?

Yes. MSE machines castings that customers supply, from a single operation to full machining. Send the drawing with the castings and tell us which operations you need.

Can you supply the casting as well?

Yes. MSE arranges castings in grey, ductile and nickel cast iron, bronze, stainless, duplex and CA6NM through foundry partners, then machines them to your drawing.

Do you repair pump covers?

Yes. MSE repairs pump covers, stage casings and motor covers to a written scope agreed with you, and to your quality control plan where you have one.

Your order is checked against the drawing number and revision. If they differ, we ask you to confirm in writing.
Parts are inspected against your drawing.
Run-out is checked on ground shafts.
Tell us at quote stage which documents you need, and the quote will say which we supply.
