Most of MSE’s work is spares for industrial pumps, made for pump manufacturers and pump service centres to their drawings, quality control plans and purchasing processes. We also make components to drawing or sample for other engineering firms.

Pump manufacturers and pump service centres
Our core customers. They send us their drawings for wear rings, shafts, sleeves, bushes, balance parts, covers and housings, and for repairs. We work to their drawing numbers and revisions, their quality control plans and their purchasing portals, and machine castings and impellers they supply.
What they send us
- A drawing with a number and revision for a wear ring, a shaft or a sleeve. We make it in the grade on the drawing.
- A worn or broken part with no drawing. We make the replacement from the sample.
- A breakdown call. A pump is down and a part is needed now. See breakdowns.
- Castings or impellers they supply, for one operation or full machining.

Can we order through our supplier portal?
Yes. MSE works with customer purchasing portals as well as emailed orders, checks every order against the drawing number and revision, and works to the customer’s quality control plan where there is one, signing off stage by stage.
